About Us
The Greenfield Harbour property owners assumed responsibility for community self-management in July 2005. That same month, the GHPOA was incorporated as a non-profit corporation under Virginia law to serve as the authority for fulfilling this responsibility. GHPOA is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors responsible for overseeing the operation and management of the Association according to the covenants and by-laws. Board members are unpaid volunteers elected by the membership for 1-year terms. Primary areas of Board involvement are covenant enforcement, maintenance and improvement of the common areas, and collection of membership dues, currently $50.00 annually per lot. Annual membership meetings are in July and the fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30.
