Water Supply Customer Service

Most of the GHPOA has water supplied by Virginia American Water. If you find yourself without water, please call their Customer Service department at 800-452-6863. The GHPOA is no longer maintaining the generators at the well heads. This is now the responsibility of VIrginia American Water.

Dominion Electric Update.

On Monday, January 12, Dominion Electric will commence work on burying the current overhead cables from 604 Greenfield Drive through the Greenfield Point Circle neighborhood. This will effect the following residents: Russell; Johnson; Unterzuber; and Carroll. It will also effect the pump house for the Smith Point LLC. During the construction period, the cables will be buried, but no residential connections will be made. This phase of the project will take place in February or March.

Next GHPOA Board Meeting

To be announced.

Important Information

1.  2025-2026 MEMBERSHIP DUES:

Invoices for 2025-2026 dues and fees were mailed on June 1, 2025, with payments due by July 1, 2025. Unpaid dues result in late fees of $5.00 per month per lot.  Members are again reminded that continued nonpayment of dues/fees can result in a lien being placed on your property or a summons to Northumberland County District Court.

2. OVERGROWN LOTS:

The GHPOA Covenants state that unimproved lots are considered overgrown when the grass height exceeds 12 inches.  Under a new policy established by the Board in 2015 (see in "Documents" tab above), property owners who repeatedly allow their lots to become excessively overgrown will only receive one written notification at the beginning of the growing season.  Continued instances of non-compliance will result in the Board, without any further notification to the owner, having the non-compliant lot mowed at the owner's expense plus a $25.00 administrative fee.

3. CALL 811 BEFORE YOU DIG:

Are you planning an outdoor landscaping project that involves digging? Call 811 before you dig. Knowing where utility lines are buried can help you avoid injury, service outages and costly repairs. Call 811 a few days prior to digging and you'll be routed to your local call center. Tell them where and when you'll be digging, and what type of work you’re doing. Within just a few days, local utility companies will visit your site and mark the location of any underground lines, free of charge.  Each utility is marked with a specific color:

  • Red for electric

  • Yellow for natural gas

  • Orange for telecommunications

  • Blue for water

  • Green for sewage

The 811 campaign is operated by the Common Ground Alliance (CGA), an association created to work with the utility industry to prevent damage to underground utility infrastructure and ensure public safety.

4. Resale Certificates:
